Education Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Business, Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field preferred. Six Sigma Green Belt or similar certification is a plus.

Experience Requirements

5+ years of progressive manufacturing or operations leadership experience. Proven leadership experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or complex operational environment. Experience leading managers, supervisors, and multi-functional teams. Experience utilizing ERP/MRP systems within a production environment. Background in Lean, Kaizen, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement initiatives. Experience in ISO-certified or highly regulated manufacturing environments preferred.

Job Duties

Lead manufacturing, material handling, shipping, receiving, and maintenance operations. Drive safety, quality, productivity, and delivery performance across the facility. Establish operational goals and hold leadership teams accountable for results. Monitor production performance and implement solutions to improve efficiency and throughput. Lead continuous improvement initiatives to reduce waste and optimize processes. Analyze operational data and KPIs to drive business decisions and performance improvements. Develop managers and supervisors through coaching, mentoring, and leadership development. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve production and operational challenges. Support equipment reliability, preventative maintenance, and facility readiness.

Ability to move throughout a manufacturing environment regularly. Ability to oversee production operations in a fast-paced industrial setting. Ability to observe manufacturing processes, equipment, and facility operations.

As a Senior Production Manager you will lead daily production operations, assign work, coordinate staffing, monitor workflow, coach employees, and keep the shift moving without cutting corners on safety or quality.
