Registered Nurse New Graduate (RN)- Med Surg/Oncology

Job Description

This position may qualify for a sign-on bonus. The Registered Nurse / RN for Surgical Unit Under minimal supervision, provides nursing care for a group of patients assigned to the nurse based on matching the patients' needs with the nurse competencies. The Registered Nurse / RN Completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period. Other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing. Academic degree in nursing (Bachelor's or Master's degree) is preferred.

Experience: 2 years in acute care for Med/Surg as Registered Nurse / RN is preferred.

Certifications: Required:

• Possession of current Texas State License for Registered Nurse / RN
• BLS required for allObtained through approved American Heart Association Training Center or the Military Training Network.
