Fire Sprinkler Estimator

Snapshot / Role Overview:
We're seeking a Fire Sprinkler Estimator in Dallas, Texas to develop accurate bids and drive project wins for fire protection systems.

- Optimize project budgets through strategic supplier and subcontractor relationships

Responsibilities:
- Review and analyze construction drawings, blueprints, and project specifications to understand fire sprinkler system requirements
- Perform material, labor, equipment, and overhead take-offs to prepare detailed, competitive bids
- Ensure all estimates comply with NFPA 13, NFPA 14, and applicable fire protection codes
- Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and clients to gather information and align on project goals
- Evaluate and select suppliers and subcontractors, negotiating favorable terms to optimize budgets
- Conduct site visits to assess conditions, identify risks, and propose effective solutions
- Maintain accurate records of project estimates, bids, and communications for tracking and reporting
- Support design-build and value engineering efforts to deliver cost-effective solutions
