Travel Physical Therapist – Independence, Missouri Prime Staffing is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist for a travel position in Independence, Missouri. Responsibilities Conduct evaluations and provide treatments to patients in a 285‑bed acute care and 16‑bed inpatient rehab setting. Document patient care using the Meditech system. Work 8‑hour shifts from 07:00 to 15:00, Monday through Friday; schedule includes five to eight hour days, one weekend every six weeks, and flexibility for off days when weekend work is required. Provide care to both acute and rehab patients, using available unit secretaries and tech support. Follow unit protocols, including safe patient handling and the use of normal rehab equipment. Qualifications Licensed Physical Therapist. Advanced skills in acute care and rehabilitation. Experience in acute or inpatient rehab settings. Proficiency with the Meditech documentation system. Ability to work a travel contract with a commitment of 12 weeks.
