Duties include but are not limited to: As a Low Voltage Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, termination, testing, and maintenance of low voltage cabling systems, including voice, data, security, access control, and audio/visual systems. This role requires attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Key Responsibilities Coordinating with clients to schedule job walks and assist with estimating work. Manage projects from beginning to end. Travel out of town for work. Daily coordination of service calls and scheduling. Install, terminate, and test low voltage cable (Cat5e, Cat6, fiber optic, coax, etc.) Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical diagrams. Install and configure network racks, patch panels, and cable trays. Perform cable labeling, dressing, and routing according to industry standards. Troubleshoot and resolve connectivity issues and cable faults. Collaborate with project managers and other trades to ensure timely project completion. Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies. Willingness to be a team player in a drug free environment. Requirements 5+ years of experience in low voltage systems installation or related field. Knowledge of EIA/TIA standards and structured cabling practices. Familiarity with tools and equipment used in cable installation and testing. Ability to lift up to 60 lbs and work in various environments (ceilings, crawl spaces, etc.). Ability to follow plans, diagrams, specifications, drawings, and blueprints. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. Certifications (e.g., BICSI, OSHA 10/30, manufacturer-specific training) are a plus. Must possess a clean DMV driving record. Camali Corp is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
