Therapy - RRT

Registered Respiratory Therapist

Facility seeks a Registered Respiratory Therapist for the Respiratory Therapy unit. Shift is from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM. The unit has a total of 350 beds with variable patient ratios. There are 5 Respiratory Therapists on each shift. Equipment used includes Drager and Hamilton ventilators, BiPAP, and V60. Documentation is performed using a Meditech system. Scheduling requires night shifts, specifically 6 PM to 6 AM. Floating policy is not applicable. Patient experience guidelines such as AIDET are utilized. Advanced skills needed include ABG draws and analysis, ventilator management, NIV, HFNC, routine floor care, intubation assist, bronch assist, and intra-hospital transportation. Dress code is ceil blue scrubs. The unit promotes a flexible schedule and boasts a highly engaged staff with a strong work ethic and teamwork.
