This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

4x10 Days (07:00 - 17:30) with 1 scheduled late shift per week from 10:00 - 20:30 for cases that run over.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Cath Lab RN to join our dedicated team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge and experience in cardiac care and demonstrate the ability to deliver high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage and monitor patients undergoing cardiac procedures.
• Assist in the performance of various cardiac interventions including Percutaneous Coronary Interventions and Pacemaker insertions.
• Prepare patients for procedures and provide post-procedure care.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation using the Epic charting system.
• Participate in on-call shifts, ensuring coverage and readiness for emergent cases.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab.
• Active RN license in Maryland or Compact state.
• Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and CPI (training during orientation). NIH certification preferred.
• Experience with End-Tidal CO2 monitoring and Activated Clotting Time (ACT) management.
