Registered Nurse - Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) Assignment Duration This is a 13-week contract position. Schedule Night 4x12-Hour Shift (18:45 - 07:15) Job Description The Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) is looking for an experienced Registered Nurse to provide high-quality care to critically ill patients. This unit supports advanced cardiac and open heart surgical programs in a Level 2 Trauma facility with a comprehensive stroke center. The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar environment and possess the necessary certifications. Responsibilities Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients in the CVICU. Monitor patient vital signs and manage complex medical devices. Administer medications and perform interventions as per medical protocols. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver optimal patient care. Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and care options. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Active RN license with state or compact licensure. ACLS, BLS, NIHSS certifications required. Preferred two years of experience in an ICU setting. Previous charge experience preferred. Experience with Epic charting system preferred. #J-18808-Ljbffr
