CNC Machinist II Location: St. Joseph, MI Area Compensation: $20-$26/hr + Shift Premium (paid for 40 hours while working only 36 hours) Schedule: Friday-Sunday, shift ends at 6:00 PM Direct Hire | Full Benefits Growing precision manufacturing company seeking a CNC Machinist II to operate multi‑axis CNC equipment producing components for highly regulated industries including aerospace, medical, defense, and industrial applications. Responsibilities Operate CNC machines to produce quality parts according to specifications Read and interpret blueprints, work instructions, and GD&T requirements Use measuring equipment including calipers and micrometers Monitor machine performance and identify quality concerns Troubleshoot production and machining issues Perform inspections to ensure parts meet specifications Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Work closely with production and quality teams Qualifications Minimum 2 years of CNC machining or CNC machine operation experience Experience with CNC lathes, Swiss‑style machines, Mill/Turn equipment, or similar CNC machinery preferred Ability to read blueprints and understand GD&T Experience using calipers, micrometers, and other inspection tools Reliable work history and strong work ethic Preferred Experience Aerospace, medical, defense, or precision manufacturing environments Setup and troubleshooting experience Equal‑Opportunity Employer MOHR Talent is an equal‑opportunity employer and complies with all applicable federal, state, and local nondiscrimination laws.
