Kitchen Designer Location: Ocean, New Jersey Job Type: Freelance Schedule: Full OR Part-Time Salary: Based on experience We are a full-service kitchen, bath, and closet design studio seeking an experienced full- or part-time freelance kitchen designer to join our team. The ideal candidate has experience designing residential kitchens, preparing professional layouts and renderings, and working directly with homeowners, contractors, and interior designers. This position offers potential for additional work as our business grows. Key Responsibilities Meet with clients to understand their needs, style, and budget. Create functional and attractive kitchen designs. Prepare floor plans, elevations, renderings, and cabinet specifications. Revise designs based on client feedback. Coordinate with our sales and project teams. Review measurements and help ensure orders are accurate. Qualifications Previous kitchen design experience required. Proficiency with kitchen design software, preferably 2020 Design or a similar program. Strong knowledge of cabinetry, appliances, countertops, and kitchen layouts. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Ability to manage projects independently and meet deadlines. Availability for occasional client meetings at our Ocean, NJ showroom.
