Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $25.00 / Hour Job Schedule: Mon: 01:00 PM - 09:30 PM Wed: 05:00 AM - 01:30 PM Thur: 05:00 AM - 01:30 PM Sat: 05:00 AM - 01:30 PM Sun: 05:00 AM - 01:30 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and appropriate emergency response activities in a healthcare location. Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and notifying appropriate personnel. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of hospital buildings, patient care areas, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify and report security-related concerns. Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directions and escorts as assigned, and report unauthorized access or unusual activity. Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, observations, and security-related concerns in accordance with site procedures. Minimum Requirements: Possess at least one year of security-related experience. Meet hospital vaccination requirements. Be able to work in a hospital morgue. Be able to restrain individuals. CPR certification is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
