As a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at Apple Valley Village Health Care Center, you'll provide compassionate, high-quality care to residents, administer medications, and collaborate with a dedicated team to ensure the best possible outcomes. Nurse Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate care plans for residents.
• Recognize and manage common geriatric syndromes common to aging adults: cardiovascular, respiratory, urinary, neurological, sensory and pain problems.
• Display a courteous attitude and respect for all residents, families, and staff.
• Administer medications and/or treatments in accordance with physician's orders and monitor for effectiveness/response.
• Manage medications, supplies, and equipment including ordering, receiving, storing, and disposing of all items in accordance with policies and procedures.
• Document care using computerized medication administration and charting software.
• Notify Clinical Manager, attending physicians, and family members of significant changes in a resident's condition, and take follow up action as necessary.
• Perform additional duties as required.

Nurse Qualifications

• Must have a current Minnesota RN or LPN license and be in good standing.
• Self-starter with a desire to be a part of a team.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
