Key Responsibilities

• Prioritize patient comfort and safety during procedures, providing clear and compassionate explanations for each step.
• Work in close partnership with radiologists and referring physicians to ensure the delivery of high-quality diagnostic images.
• Manage and maintain imaging equipment, promptly reporting any malfunctions.
• Accurately document procedures and maintain detailed patient records in the electronic medical system.
• Keep abreast of advancements in ultrasound imaging techniques and best practices.

Educational Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related discipline.
• Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is highly preferred.

Certifications Required

• Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or an equivalent credential.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred.
