Expected start dates are between mid-May and early June.This position is not eligible for benefits, PTO or paid holidays.Primary Responsibilities – Expectations - Qualifications:Have a strong sense of accountability – and an equally strong sense of teamwork.Be able to work in a safe manner and follow safe work practices and policies. Help ensure co-workers are working safely and following safety requirements.Follow all applicable procedures with regards to standardized work, control plans and product specifications.Support and participate in Employee Engagement activities.Follow defined clean-up procedures and times.Engage in cross-training to maintain flexibility and adaptability to support resource planning.Work at an established rate as defined by customer demand and standardized work.Identify problems; communicate issues to WC Leads and Supervisors.Support a respectful workplace.Perform other duties across the plant as needed as directed by supervision or management.Ability to meet physical requirements, perform tasks requiring repetitive motion and stand for long periods.Ability to read and understand reports and a willingness to cross train on several operations.Possess communication, teamwork, problem solving, and leadership skills.Dependability/punctuality.Have a basic understanding of Window and Door manufacturing requirementsPhysical Demands for Essential Functions (Tier 3):Ability to safely lift and carry up to 60 poundsAbility to safely push and/or pull up to 98 pounds of forceClimb stairs/steps at willObtain a variety of positions such as stooping, reaching, twisting, etc.Ability to grasp and pinch frequently throughout the dayWork around and near moving equipment and machineryCompensation:$22.05/hourPAY RANGE:$17.80 - $26.89CULTURE AND BENEFITS:At Andersen, we believe our people are at the heart of everything we do.
