We are looking for an experienced Chief Financial Officer to provide strategic financial leadership for a growing mission-driven nonprofit in Las Vegas, Nevada. This executive will work closely with senior leadership to guide long-term planning, strengthen financial operations, and support responsible expansion across a broad and evolving organization. The ideal candidate brings sound judgment, a collaborative approach, and the ability to translate financial insight into practical decision-making that advances the organization’s impact.Responsibilities:• Lead the organization’s financial strategy, aligning budgets, forecasts, and long-range plans with growth objectives and mission priorities.• Partner with executive leadership to evaluate opportunities, assess financial risk, and support informed decisions across programs and operations.• Oversee accounting, reporting, cash management, and internal controls to ensure accuracy, transparency, and regulatory compliance.• Direct the annual budgeting process and ongoing financial forecasting for a complex nonprofit environment with multiple stakeholders and funding sources.• Strengthen audit readiness and financial governance by maintaining effective policies, documentation, and oversight practices.• Build and mentor a high-performing finance function while promoting financial understanding and accountability throughout the organization.• Develop clear financial reporting for leadership and board-level audiences, highlighting trends, performance, and key business considerations.• Support funding growth by helping ensure strong fiscal stewardship, sustainable resource planning, and confidence among partners and supporters.
