Dietary Cook – Make a Difference One Meal at a Time!

Are you passionate about cooking and enjoy making delicious meals for others? We are looking for a dependable and enthusiastic Dietary Cook to join our healthcare team!

As a Dietary Cook, you will play an important role in the daily lives of our residents by preparing nutritious, high-quality meals that meet their individual dietary needs. You will help create a positive dining experience while ensuring all meals are prepared safely and in accordance with dietary guidelines.

• Prepare and cook meals according to menus, recipes, and dietary requirements.

• Follow special diet orders and portion control guidelines.

• Ensure meals are prepared and served in a timely manner.

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized kitchen environment.

• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and infection control procedures.

• Assist with food preparation, storage, and inventory as needed.

• Work closely with the Dietary Manager and healthcare team to provide excellent service to residents.

• Help make every meal a positive experience for those we serve!

• Previous cooking experience is preferred, preferably in a healthcare, long-term care, or food service setting.

• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures.

• Ability to follow recipes, menus, and special dietary requirements.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
