Information for Assignment :
Texas License required
Graduate of an accredited Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner (ARNP) or Physician Assistant (PA) program
Active Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
Seeking candidates with a minimum of 1-2 years of cardiothoracic or cardiovascular surgery experience
Vein Harvesting not required
Monday-Friday, typically 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
Weekday call approximately once per week; Weekend call every 4th or 5th weekend
Surgical: Serve as First Assist in cardiovascular and cardiothoracic surgical procedures
Preoperative and postoperative patient management
1-2 cardiovascular surgery cases per day, depending on call coverage
EMR: Epic
Support: Travel, lodging, and premium malpractice insurance coverage provided for the duration of the assignment
