We are currently in need of a skilled Installer or Carpenter for our team, locations at 9475 W. Laraway Rd. Frankfort, IL and 2630 N. Farnsworth Avenue. This is truly a place you can put down roots and build a long term career. Hours: Monday – Friday: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM (No Nights, No Sundays!) Compensation: Depends on Experience Benefits Offered: Medical Insurance – Blue Cross Blue Shield Dental Insurance – Guardian Life Insurance – Guardian 401K Retirement Plan – Southwest Fireplace will match up to 3% Paid Vacation Time Southwest Fireplace is looking to hire an experienced technician or carpenter to be responsible for the production and quality of the products they install according to a range of tasks to be completed, as assigned daily. Timely production, quality of work and maintaining a safe work environment are crucial in this role. The ideal candidate will bring the following to the Southwest Fireplace team: framing skills, solid work ethic, experience in carpentry, masonry, fireplaces or the like, gas-line experience, electrical experience, willingness to learn, and valid driver’s license. The Carpenter or Technician is responsible for completing a variety of job tasks involving general carpentry, drywall, and fireplace, mantel, stone or gas grill installation. Job responsibilities vary to your experience, capabilities, and training. This position will also require performing general labor duties as needed.
