Work Environment

This role is fully remote, providing you with flexibility and the ability to manage your schedule based on client appointments. Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive patient intakes that focus on diagnostic assessments, functional evaluations, and the establishment of therapy goals.
  • Collaborate closely with primary care professionals to identify and manage mental health and psychosocial issues that enhance patient care.
  • Provide timely emergency interventions for clients in crisis and develop individualized treatment plans based on their unique needs.
  • Regularly evaluate patients to track their progress, modifying treatment strategies as needed for optimal outcomes.
  • Foster strong therapeutic alliances, creating relapse prevention plans and coping strategies tailored to individuals’ circumstances.
  • Document patient interactions accurately and maintain compliance with Agency and Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) standards.
  • Educate patients on self-management techniques to empower them in their care journey and address lifestyle changes that can lead to improved health outcomes.
  • Participate in interdisciplinary case discussions, sharing insights and recommendations with primary care providers for well-rounded patient care.
  • Support clinic management by identifying program development opportunities that enhance behavioral service efficiency and efficacy.
  • Adhere to ethical standards and maintain a high level of professionalism in all client interactions.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a counselor at Brightways Recovery Plus, you will work with a diverse clientele facing varying degrees of mental health challenges. Our services are designed to cater to both individuals and families from different backgrounds, addressing mental health concerns that may arise from physical health issues, socioeconomic factors, and personal experiences.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess a valid LPC license and hold a Master’s Degree in Clinical Counseling. A thorough understanding of psychotherapeutic techniques, mental health evaluations, and the implications of mental illnesses on individuals and communities is essential. Strong documentation skills and proficiency in maintaining accurate patient records are crucial.

Preferred Experience

While fluency in both English and Spanish is encouraged, it is not required. Individuals who demonstrate a robust understanding of community resources, treatment methodologies, and the ethical dimensions of counseling will be preferred. A commitment to continuous professional growth and familiarity with telehealth systems will be considered advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this position ranges from USD 90,000 to 105,000 annually, reflecting our commitment to recognizing professional expertise.
