Registered Nurse (RN) - ER

Emergency Department RNVariable evening and night shifts, including weekends every other weekend, with the potential for back-to-back weekends. Commitment to 3 of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day) is required.Daily census of approximately 85 patients, with a patient-to-nurse ratio of 1:4.RequirementsMinimum of 2 years of Emergency Department experience, including triage.Current licenses and certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, NRP.Experience with Epic EMR system.Core ED skills: Triage, dysrhythmia recognition/management, IV management, blood product administration, central line care, trauma exposure.ResponsibilitiesProvide comprehensive nursing care to patients of all ages presenting with emergency conditions.Conduct patient assessments and triage.Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.Maintain accurate patient records using the EMR system.Participate in education and training of new nursing staff.A compact nursing license is required at the time of submission. Compliance with local radius requirements (50 miles) is expected. Background checks and any required documentation should be submitted upfront.
