Position Overview

We are hiring a Fabrication Shop Associate to join our Fort Worth team. This hands-on role is ideal for candidates with experience in manufacturing, fabrication, warehouse operations, or construction, or those eager to learn a skilled trade.

You’ll play a key role in producing high-quality materials such as rebar, dowels, and redwood products while maintaining safety and efficiency in a fast-paced shop environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Fabricate stock and custom rebar orders to customer specifications
• Operate fabrication equipment including rebar benders, shears, saws, and drill presses
• Cut, bend, and prepare materials accurately based on production instructions
• Set up machines using production tags/scanning systems (ASA tags)
• Load/unload materials using forklifts and overhead cranes
• Inspect materials for quality, accuracy, and proper labeling
• Track inventory and return unused materials accurately
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized shop environment
• Perform routine equipment maintenance and cleaning
• Follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements
• Communicate with supervisors and team members on production needs

What We’re Looking For

• Experience in fabrication, manufacturing, construction, or warehouse work preferred
• Ability to operate or learn industrial machinery and tools
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
• Basic math skills (measurements, counts, material tracking)
• Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in a physically demanding, fast-paced environment
• Forklift experience is a plus (or willingness to learn)
• Team player with strong communication skills
