Job Summary:
The organization is seeking a Cardiovascular Operating Room Registered Nurse (CVOR RN) in Plantation, Florida. The qualified candidate will be responsible for providing specialized care in a CVOR unit, supporting surgical procedures involving open heart instrumentation and supplies. Candidates are required to bring their nursing license on the first day of employment.

• Required Qualifications: Certifications: ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), BLS (Basic Life Support); Education: current nursing license; Experience: minimum of 2 years of current experience in an acute cardiovascular operating room setting. Additional requirements include experience in open heart procedures.
• Schedule: Day Shift: 2 RNs and 2 Technicians; Night Shift: on call.
• Additional Information: The unit performs procedures such as coronary artery bypass grafts, mitral valve repairs, aortic valve replacements, pacemaker insertions, laser lead extractions, thoracic, endovascular procedures, and standby for Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR) and mitral clips. Candidates with experience in minimally invasive cardiac procedures and adaptability to fast-paced environments are preferred.
