Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Medical/Surgical Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 19:00 - 07:00 Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 1 year License: Active RN license in Tennessee Certifications: BLS Must-Have: BLS certification Ability to work effectively within a team Description: We are seeking a motivated Registered Nurse for a Medical/Surgical unit. The ideal candidate will provide care for adult and geriatric patients. Patient ratios are expected to be 6:1, with a maximum patient load of 18, increasing to 24. Common diagnoses include pneumonia, stroke, chest pain, post-surgical cases, electrolyte imbalances, and deep vein thrombosis. Critical thinking and the ability to work collaboratively are essential. Candidates should be comfortable using medical equipment such as bladder scanners and glucometers. No pediatric care is involved in this position. We value a friendly and supportive work environment. Casual wear is not permitted; scrubs of any color are acceptable.
