Maintenance Director

Job Summary:

We're seeking a dedicated and innovative Maintenance Director to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the overall maintenance and upkeep of our senior living community. We're looking for a motivated and organized individual who is passionate about providing a safe and comfortable environment for our residents.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain the physical plant, including but not limited to, HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical systems, and carpentry.

• Conduct regular inspections and assessments of the community to identify and address maintenance needs and concerns.

• Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to extend the life of our equipment and facilities.

• Oversee and participate in routine repairs, renovations, and capital projects.

• Collaborate with other departments to coordinate maintenance efforts and ensure seamless operations.

• Develop and manage budgets and schedules for maintenance and repair projects.

• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, codes, and standards.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; trade school or associate's degree in a related field preferred.

• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in maintenance or a related field; experience in senior living or healthcare industry a plus.

• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, plumbing, electrical systems, and carpentry.

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
