Job Summary ARMStaffing is seeking a travel nurse RN OR – Operating Room for a travel nursing job in San Marcos, Texas. Key Details Specialty: OR – Operating Room Discipline: RN Start Date: ASAP Duration: 13 weeks Hours: 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Schedule Shift: 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM (8 hours, days) Responsibilities Provide nursing care utilizing the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation for assigned patients. Address increasingly complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families in accordance with their level of practice. Administer medications and treatments according to appropriate protocols; monitor patients for side effects and effectiveness of prescribed treatments. Document patient history, symptoms, medication, and care provided. Assess learning needs and provide education to patients, family members, and/or caregivers; identify issues and resources available. Qualifications Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred. Minimum of 1 year of experience in a related nursing specialty preferred. BLS certification required (American Heart Association only). Registered Nurse License in the state of Texas or compact license.
