Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - Travel Job

We're hiring an experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist for a hospital in Naples, FL. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate treatment and care for patients with breathing and cardiopulmonary disorders. Duties include assisting physicians with invasive and non-invasive procedures, delivery of medicated aerosols, airway maintenance, ventilator management, arterial line insertion support, intubation assistance, pulmonary function studies, cardiac and pulmonary stress tests, and blood gas analysis. You will follow department protocols and medical staff orders to provide diagnostic and therapeutic services to inpatients and outpatients.

Minimum Requirements:

• Associate or bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Science.
• Current Florida state license in good standing.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) required; Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) will be considered (preferred: RRT).
• ACLS certification required.
• BLS certification required.
• Minimum 3 years of critical care experience.
• Experience with Cerner preferred.
• Willingness to float between campuses as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior travel RRT experience.
• Experience with ventilator management in ICU settings.

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: 1900-0700.
• Alternating weekends required.
• May float between campuses as needed.
