Part-Time Dishwasher

The Shanna and Bryan Glazer JCC Event Center is seeking to fill the position of part-time dishwasher.

Essential Job Functions (but not limited to):

• Maintain dishwasher chemical levels, oversee any issues pertaining to dishwasher, and help when needed to keep kitchen clean
• Clean all dishware or items used by the kitchen and once dried store them in the proper location
• Help kitchen staff prep for events as needed
• Take out all trash at the conclusion of shift; breakdown boxes and dispose in recycle dumpster
• Mop all floors and sanitize all kitchen surfaces at conclusion of shift

Position Requirements:

• Ability to interact and develop rapport with kitchen staff
• Professional appearance and attitude
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule

Physical Requirements:

• Lifting, pushing and pulling in excess of 50 pounds using proper body mechanics and/or available equipment as physically required for extended periods of time.
• Be able to walk, bend, stoop, balance, crawl and reach for extended periods of time
• Must be capable of work at heights, sometimes above 10 feet.
• Work is performed both indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions typical for Florida environment.
