Overview
Registered Nurse – outpatient ambulatory care in Juneau, Alaska. This travel assignment begins 11/02/2026 for 19 weeks, with a weekly pay range of $2,797 to $2,962 and guaranteed 40 hours per week. Shift is Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The role supports providers and staff within a health system’s ambulatory services, delivering comprehensive nursing care in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment.

Responsibilities
- Provide clinical nursing care in the outpatient ambulatory setting, collaborating with providers and staff to ensure timely, high-quality patient care.
- Perform triage, patient assessments, medication administration, wound care, specimen collection, and point-of-care testing with proper quality controls.
- Support clinic operations including patient flow and the opening/closing of provider service areas to maintain efficient workflow.
- Maintain medication inventory and essential supplies not listed in centralized inventory systems; report safety hazards and equipment issues.
- Document all care and services accurately in the patient record; complete nursing duties professionally and in a timely manner.
- Communicate effectively with other departments and participate in ongoing staff education and in-service activities as assigned.

Requirements
- Current full, unrestricted RN license in Alaska (or another U.S. state) with active license at time of submittal
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Minimum 2 years of primary care experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proof of influenza vaccination required
- Ability to multi-task and work independently in a fast-paced outpatient setting
