Maintenance Worker / Building Maintenance Technician

Pay: $20 $32 per hour, based on experience

Job Summary

We are seeking reliable and skilled Maintenance Workers / Building Maintenance Technicians to support facilities across Central Pennsylvania. This role is responsible for maintaining buildings, equipment, and systems to ensure safe and efficient operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine building maintenance and repairs
• Troubleshoot and fix issues related to plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems
• Conduct preventative maintenance on equipment and facilities
• Repair or replace fixtures, doors, lights, and basic structural components
• Respond to maintenance requests and emergency repairs as needed
• Maintain tools, equipment, and maintenance logs
• Ensure all work is completed safely and in compliance with regulations
• Keep work areas clean and organized

Qualifications

• Previous maintenance, facilities, or building maintenance experience required
• Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to use hand and power tools
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in various environments
• Good communication and time management skills
• Reliable transportation to job sites in Central PA

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Mechanicsburg, PA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $67600.00 - $83200.00/yr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.

Vacation/Benefits info Given 2 weeks PTO right away, a month after hire. From 1-6 years of service you will earn a total of 144 hours. Cannot carry hours over into the next year, but can at end of year cash in up to 40 hours of PTO. 32 hours of sick leave for the year - will be prorated based on when their start date is if they get the full amount right away. Health insurance is eligible on 1st of the month following your date of hire. Pay is biweekly
