Physician – Infectious Disease

Job Details:

• Provide inpatient Infectious Disease consultations at a central Connecticut hospital
• Maintain an outpatient practice with opportunities to care for HIV and Hepatitis C patients
• Participate in Antimicrobial Stewardship initiatives
• Collaborate with Infection Prevention, Hospital Epidemiology, and Quality teams
• Shared call coverage with experienced Infectious Disease colleagues
• No primary care responsibilities
• Dedicated Hospitalist program manages inpatient admissions
• Opportunities to teach medical students, residents, and fellows
• Academic appointments available through partnering universities
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Infectious Disease required
• Must be licensed or eligible for licensure in the state of Connecticut
• Supportive leadership committed to physician wellness and professional development
