Exciting full-time opportunity for a dedicated school psychologist to make a meaningful impact on elementary students. This contract assignment provides a perfect blend of flexibility and onsite engagement, covering a maternity leave until early November. Working with K-5th grade students, you will offer vital support and interventions, contributing to positive outcomes across a diverse caseload.

Key Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid School Psychologist certification/licensure
• Experience with elementary-aged students, K-5 preferred
• Knowledge of assessment tools, intervention strategies, and IEP processes
• Strong collaboration and communication skills with colleagues, families, and students
• Ability to manage time effectively and maintain thorough documentation

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments and evaluations in-person two days per week, supporting students’ social, emotional, and academic growth
• Deliver counseling, consultation, and intervention services to students and staff
• Participate in special education eligibility decisions, IEP meetings, and student support teams
• Implement evidence-based interventions to address behavioral and learning challenges
• Maintain detailed and confidential student records, contributing to data-driven decision-making
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop and implement strategies tailored to individual student needs

Role Details:

• Full-time schedule, Monday – Friday, 8:00am to 4:00pm
• Three days per week hybrid/remote; flexible to accommodate your needs
• Two days per week on-site, focusing on in-person evaluations and supporting staff
• Engage with a manageable K-5 elementary caseload in a supportive school environment
