Robert Half on behalf of a prestigious South Florida law firm seeks a motivated litigation attorney with 2+ years' experience for its Boca Raton office. This litigation attorney will grow within a firm that values both development and quality of life (no billables) and full benefits including 401k contribution and 100% health insurance covered.

Job Duties

•      Handle general liability and civil litigation matters including premises liability, auto accidents, and insurance defense (third party)

•      Represent clients in court hearings, mediations, and trial

•      Take and defend depositions

•      Draft and review legal documents, motions, and pleadings

•      Conduct in-depth legal research and develop well-supported legal arguments

•      Engage in negotiations with opposing counsel on behalf of clients

•      Communicate effectively with clients, expert witnesses, and opposing counsel

Qualifications

•      Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school

•      Active membership in the Florida Bar

•      2+ years litigation experience strongly preferred, with a focus on civil defense and general liability

•      Proficient in drafting and filing motions, pleadings, and legal documents

•      Experienced in conducting and defending depositions

•      Familiar with Florida court procedures and comfortable representing clients in hearings and trials

•      Strong analytical, organizational, and written communication skills
