Senior Software Engineering Manager

Salary: $121,000 - 161,000 per year Requirements:

• We are looking for 8–12+ years of experience in software engineering or systems development.
• We need at least 5 years of experience leading complex delivery through other engineers, whether through formal or informal leadership.
• We expect a proven record of leading engineering teams that have fully adopted AI tools such as Copilot, Cursor, Claude, Kiro, or similar as a core part of the SDLC, with clear productivity improvements in code generation, review, and testing.
• We require hands-on experience with large, high-transaction data systems, including RDBMS-focused architectures; Oracle experience is strongly preferred.
• We want demonstrated exposure to production change control, incident response, data integrity, and operational risk.
• We are looking for experience in regulated or audit-bound environments; SOC 2-level rigor is a strong advantage.
• We value experience in insurance, fintech, or government-adjacent systems.
• We prefer experience in cloud and legacy hybrid environments.
• We value experience guiding teams through role ambiguity and operating-model change.
• We prefer prior responsibility spanning engineering, DevOps, and platform operations.
