Inventory Accountant

Our Austin client is seeking an Accountant to play a key role in managing inventory accounting across multiple warehouse locations, ensuring accurate inventory valuation, reconciliations, and financial reporting in accordance with US GAAP. Job Summary This role will be responsible for managing inventory accounting across various warehouse locations, ensuring accurate valuation and reconciliation of inventory accounts. This role involves supporting month-end close processes, collaborating with operations teams, and driving improvements in financial processes using ERP systems. Skill Requirements 3+ years of progressive general ledger accounting experience Hands-on inventory accounting experience Strong understanding of US GAAP Experience working with ERP systems and strong Excel skills Proven experience with inventory or cost accounting in a wholesale/distribution environment Bachelors degree in Accounting required; CPA license or path to CPA preferred Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment #J-18808-Ljbffr LHH
