Registered Nurse - Oncology

$2023.68/week - Job Summary: Provide specialized nursing care to oncology patients in a hospital or outpatient setting. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver chemotherapy treatments and manage patient recovery. Responsibilities: Administer chemotherapy and other prescribed medications to oncology patients. Monitor and assess patient responses to treatments, adjusting care plans accordingly. Educate patients and their families on treatment protocols, side effects, and self-care strategies. Document patient care activities accurately and in compliance with regulatory standards. Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to develop and implement care plans. Ensure adherence to safety protocols and maintain certifications required for chemotherapy administration. Qualifications: Hold a valid RN license with a minimum of 2 years recent experience in oncology or hematology-oncology. Obtain and maintain AHA BLS and NIH certification. Possess chemotherapy certification and demonstrated competence in administering chemotherapy. Have experience working in trauma level 1, ICU, or oncology units preferred.
