SAO Reporting Analyst (Workday)

Position Overview SAO Reporting Analyst (Workday) – 6+ month time‑limited, W2 appointment in Atlanta, GA (Hybrid). The role supports the State Accounting Office (SAO) by creating and maintaining reports and dashboards in the Workday cloud‑based software platform. Key Responsibilities Research, design, deliver, and maintain reporting solutions in response to emerging Workday technologies, customer requests, and ongoing operational changes. Create and manage reports and dashboards that provide insights and data analysis to support decision‑making and meet the reporting needs of SAO. Work within a shared services capacity, collaborating with partners and stakeholders to ensure system‑wide impact. Ensure reporting solutions align with data governance principles and best practices. Qualifications & Skills Proficiency with Workday Financials, Workday Management, and reporting tools such as Report Writer, Report Designer, Adaptive Planning, and Prism Analytics. Strong understanding of Finance, HCM, Procurement processes and data structures. Data analysis and interpretation skills. Advanced Excel skills and strong qualitative and analytical capabilities. Excellent attention to detail, problem‑solving and analytical skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills and collaboration abilities. Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, work independently, and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Understanding of data governance principles and best practices.
