Infopacity is seeking three (contingent hire) Employment Coaches to support the Florida National Guard Employment Support Program (FLESP) . This program helps connect Florida National Guard members, Reserve Component service members, veterans, and their families with meaningful employment opportunities and career resources.

Each Employment Coach will support one of the following regions and must reside within the assigned territory:

• North Region: Pensacola to Jacksonville
• Central Region: Tampa to Melbourne
• South Region: Naples to Miami

These (contingent hire) positions require extensive travel throughout the assigned region, including regular weekend work and occasional overnight hotel stays. Work schedules will be adjusted during the week to maintain a 40-hour workweek and align with military unit requirements. Mileage reimbursement is provided in accordance with Defense Travel Regulations.

Key Responsibilities

As an Employment Coach, you will:

• Provide employment coaching, counseling, training, and career guidance to National Guard members, Reserve Component members, veterans, and their families.
• Assist job seekers with:
• • Job search strategies
  • Resume development
  • Interview preparation and coaching
  • Career planning
• Maintain bi-weekly contact with assigned unemployed service members and spouses.
• Assess each job seeker's needs and present available employment, educational, and apprenticeship opportunities.
• Track client progress, maintain case notes, and document all interactions.
• Coordinate referrals and employment opportunities through local, state, and federal workforce resources.
• Build and maintain relationships with military-friendly employers.
• Conduct outreach to employers and develop new employment partnerships.
• Schedule and deliver briefings at National Guard and Reserve units regarding available employment services.
• Serve as a point of contact for employment-related referrals and support activities.
• Maintain accurate records of clients, employers, referrals, job leads, placements, and outreach activities using Salesforce and Excel.
• Collaborate with Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR) representatives and other stakeholders.
• Attend and support community events, job fairs, Yellow Ribbon Reintegration Program (YRRP) events, ESGR events, and related workforce development activities.
• Document briefings, training events, outreach efforts, and communications in designated databases.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Required Education

• Bachelor's Degree in:
• • Human Resources
  • Psychology
  • Business Management
  • Business Administration
  • Social Sciences
  • Or a related field

Required Experience

• Experience in case management, employment services, personnel management, or human resources.
• Strong understanding of career development and workforce readiness practices.
• Experience providing coaching, counseling, or employment assistance services.
• Experience presenting information to groups of varying sizes.
• Excellent customer service, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with:

  • Salesforce
• Current valid driver's license.
• Ability to pass a government background investigation

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior U.S. Reserve Component, National Guard, or military experience.
• Military spouse experience.
• Knowledge of military personnel systems and challenges associated with balancing civilian careers and military service.
• Familiarity with:
• • Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR)
  • USERRA regulations
  • Department of Defense directives
  • Employment-related state and federal regulations affecting service members.

Travel Requirements

• Extensive regional travel required.
• Participation in job fairs, specialty workforce events, military briefings, and community outreach activities.
• Occasional overnight travel.
• Reliable, insured, and well-maintained personal vehicle required.
