Job Title

Registered Nurse – IMC/PCU/Stepdown (Medical Neuroscience Progressive Care)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts | 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM | Rotating Weekends

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a 30-bed Medical Neuroscience Progressive Care unit with a primary focus on medical neurological patients
• Utilize skills including CVA management, External CPAP/BiPAP, TR band, and Yale Swallowing Screen
• Participate in rotating weekend coverage as scheduled
• Float to other campus locations within the health system as needed
• Complete unit-based orientation modules as required during onboarding
• Adhere to a 6-week self-assisted scheduling process through the facility's scheduling platform

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – must be in hand at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required; first-time travelers are welcome
• Neuro PCU experience required
• BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale certifications required
• EPIC EMR experience required
• All RNs must pass a compliance EKG exam (2 attempts allowed)
• Third-party education verification required; degrees from schools on the Florida Diploma Fraud Audit list will not be accepted
• No open background check cases permitted
• Current driver's license required to verify address
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
• Requested time off (RTO) must be submitted with the application; no post-submission RTO accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous Charge RN experience preferred
• Familiarity with Centralized Cardiac Monitoring environments
