In Manchester, PA, you’ll be the go-to expert ensuring our production lines stay safe, reliable, and ready. Picture your day: you start by reviewing work orders, knock out a set of preventive maintenance tasks, then jump in to quickly diagnose a sudden line stoppage. By afternoon, you’re teaming up with Production, Engineering, and Quality to fine-tune equipment performance, wrapping up with clear documentation and a tidy workspace.

What You’ll Own

• Execute preventive maintenance, inspections, adjustments, and repairs on production machinery and facility systems.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and HVAC issues to minimize downtime.
• Respond rapidly to unplanned breakdowns and emergency maintenance needs.
• Document work orders, maintenance records, and equipment history with accuracy.
• Assist with equipment installs, modifications, testing, and startups.
• Partner with Production, Engineering, and Quality on reliability improvements and performance optimization.
• Recommend and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support plant shutdowns, changeovers, and special projects.
• Keep your area safe, organized, and clean; model 5S behaviors.
• Follow all safety, food safety, quality, and environmental procedures.

What You Bring

• High School Diploma/GED (or equivalent).
• 2+ years of maintenance experience in manufacturing, industrial, food production, or similar settings.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and excellent troubleshooting ability.
• Working knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and HVAC.
• Ability to read blueprints, wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Hands-on skill with hand/power tools, measuring devices, and diagnostic equipment.
• Effective working independently and within a team; organized problem-solver.
• Willing to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Stand Out With

• Technical degree, apprenticeship, or vocational training in Maintenance, Mechatronics, Industrial Technology, Electrical Technology, or related fields.
• Experience with PLCs, automation systems, VFDs, robotics, and industrial controls.
• Skilled trade certifications (Electrical, Mechanical, HVAC, Welding, etc.).
• Food manufacturing background and familiarity with GMPs.

Physical & Environmental Reality

• Frequently stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, and climb throughout the shift.
• Regularly lift and move up to 50 lbs.
• Work at heights and in confined spaces when required.
• Wear required PPE at all times.
