We are looking for a Medical Assistant to work in our Urgent Care clinic. The right candidate will be responsible for performing a wide range of administrative and direct patient care activities, and will have experience working with patients of all ages. We're interested in hiring individuals who are comfortable in a fast-paced environment, who can multitask and who enjoy working with people. Must be able to arrive on time (15 min prior to clinic start time). Must be reliable and dependable. Must be flexible with scheduling needs.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain medical records.
• Blood draws, Injections, Procedure Tray Set Up, Triage. Inventory.
• Ideally have experience in urgent care and familiar with ECW .
• Have knowledge of medical terminology.
• Understand the purposes and duties of medical tools and instruments, Autoclave.
• Communicate with other medical staff members.
• Be aware of patient rights and confidentiality.
• Front Desk and DOT Physical & UDS and IV Fluids, X-Ray, Inventory Experience a plus.
• Hands-on interview and competency test during the interview is conducted. Must be able to hit the ground running and NOT require training.
