Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Med Surg Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: 07:00 - 19:00 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 1+ Years License: Required RN Licensure in Tennessee Certifications: ACLS, BLS Must-Have Skills/Experience: ACLS BLS Description: This position is for a Registered Nurse specializing in Medical/Surgical care. The role involves caring for adult and geriatric patient populations. The patient ratio is currently 6:1 with a maximum patient load of 18, with plans to increase to 24. Common diagnoses include pneumonia, cerebrovascular accidents, chest pain, post-surgical care, electrolyte imbalances, and deep vein thrombosis. Candidates should possess critical thinking skills related to critical care. The ideal candidate will have a collaborative personality and be able to get along well with others in a family-like environment. In addition to required certifications, applicants should maintain the necessary skills for the healthcare setting. Dress code requires professional scrubs and prohibits casual attire.
