Janitor

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time Janitorial Cleaner to provide cleaning services at a federal administrative office facility located near . This position involves weekly evening cleaning services and occasional monthly and semi-annual deep cleaning tasks. The ideal candidate must be dependable, professional, able to work independently, and capable of passing a federal background check and fingerprinting process.

Job Duties

• Vacuum carpeted office areas, hallways, stairs, and entryways
• Empty trash and recycling containers and replace liners
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, sinks, toilets, mirrors, and floors
• Dust desks, counters, windowsills, partitions, and office surfaces
• Mop floors and clean entrance areas
• Clean interior and exterior glass doors
• Refill restroom paper products as needed
• Perform monthly detailed cleaning tasks
• Assist with semi-annual carpet shampooing and deep cleaning services
• Secure building upon completion of work

Schedule

• Weekly evening cleaning
• Work must generally be performed between 6:00 PM – 11:00 PM
• Additional monthly and semi-annual deep cleaning tasks required

Requirements

• Prior janitorial or commercial cleaning experience preferred
• Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision
• Must have reliable transportation
• Professional appearance required
• Must be dependable and punctual

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience cleaning offices or government facilities
• Floor care and carpet cleaning experience
• Ability to operate standard janitorial equipment
