A well-established Comprehensive Cancer Center in Pennsylvania is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Radiation Oncologist to provide full-time coverage in a collaborative, high-quality oncology program.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a respected multidisciplinary team focused on advanced cancer care, including hematology/oncology, infusion services, and palliative medicine—all within a single integrated facility.

Compensation Highlights

• Full-time Monday–Friday schedule
• Long-term assignment: July 2026 – July 2027
• No call required

A well-established regional cancer center serving a broad patient population with access to advanced radiation oncology technologies and support services.

Practice Overview

This is a hospital-based comprehensive radiation oncology program offering a full spectrum of outpatient and treatment services.

Clinical Volume

• ~14 treatment patients per day
• ~8 new consults per week
• ~20 follow-up visits weekly
• Adult patient population only

Clinical Responsibilities

The Radiation Oncologist will participate in all aspects of treatment planning and delivery, including:

• Outpatient radiation oncology clinic care
• Treatment planning and oversight
• Tumor board participation
• Chart rounds and multidisciplinary review
• Occasional inpatient consults (rare)
• Lung SBRT and advanced radiation procedures

Facility & Support Team

This is a highly experienced and well-supported cancer center, including:

• Oncology-certified RN
• Physician access assistant
• Dietician
• Social worker
• Financial counselor
• 4 highly experienced radiation therapists (25+ years average experience)

Technology & Environment

• Epic EMR system
• Integrated cancer center model
• Co-located hematology/oncology, infusion, and palliative care services
• Strong multidisciplinary tumor board structure

Schedule

• Monday–Friday
• 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• Full-time coverage required
• No call responsibilities
• Participation in tumor boards and chart rounds

Requirements

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Radiation Oncology
• Active Pennsylvania license OR IMLC Letter of Qualification
• DEA required
• Minimum 1 year of experience preferred
• Comfortable in a multidisciplinary oncology environment
