Special Needs Caregiver (DSP)

Overview Be the DSP you always wanted to be at BAYADA Home Health! BAYADA Home Health Care is currently seeking a Direct Support Professionals (DSP) to join the team in Lincolnton, NC. BAYADA’s Direct Support Professionals DSPs work one-on-one in home and community settings as a companion and mentor for individuals with intellectual or developmental disability to help them reach their full potential. We provide an opportunity for you to make a difference in the lives of others and offer flexibility in our roles to match your needs. We’re hiring urgently for the following areas: Lincolnton, Denver, Stanley, and the surrounding area. Shifts available : Afternoons, Evenings (3pm - 9pm) during the weekdays; flexible weekends (up to 12 hour shifts). Shifts subject to change based on client needs. How You’ll Make an Impact Provide personal care assistance (dressing, grooming) Accompany clients on errands and appointments Spend time on the client’s favorite hobbies and activities Assist with everyday tasks, such as meal preparation Participate in community integration activities Help lift and reposition clients.
