Part-Time Housekeeper / Family Assistant - Coral Gables, FL

A warm and welcoming family in Coral Gables is seeking an experienced, reliable, and detail-oriented Part-Time Housekeeper to help maintain their 9,000 square foot residence and support daily household operations. There are no children or pets in the home.

Schedule / Compensation

9am - 2pm Monday-Friday
Flexibility to work additional hours when the family is hosting guests is appreciated
$38 - $40/hour DOE

Responsibilities

Housekeeping & Home Maintenance

General cleaning and upkeep of the home's interior
Cleaning and maintaining the outdoor terrace/patio, including outdoor furniture, cushions, and outdoor kitchen area
Cleaning windows and vehicles as needed
Emptying trash and recycling

Laundry & Organization

Laundry, ironing, folding, and proper garment care
Changing and making beds
Organizing closets and household storage areas
Keeping the kitchen, pantry, refrigerator, laundry room, and cleaning supplies neatly organized

Plant Care

Watering orchids and providing basic care for indoor plants

Meal Preparation

Preparing simple, healthy meals 2-3 times per week
Chopping and preparing ingredients
Properly storing leftovers and maintaining kitchen cleanliness

Household Support

Grocery shopping and maintaining household inventory
Monitoring and notifying the family when household or cleaning supplies need replenishing
Running occasional household-related errands, as agreed upon in advance

Ideal Candidate

Previous housekeeping experience in a private home
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Trustworthy, dependable, and proactive
Comfortable with light meal preparation
Flexible and willing to assist with additional hours during special occasions or guest visits
