Part-Time Housekeeper / Family Assistant - Coral Gables, FL


A warm and welcoming family in Coral Gables is seeking an experienced, reliable, and detail-oriented Part-Time Housekeeper to help maintain their 9,000 square foot residence and support daily household operations. There are no children or pets in the home.

Schedule / Compensation

• 9am - 2pm Monday-Friday
• Flexibility to work additional hours when the family is hosting guests is appreciated
• $38 - $40/hour DOE

Responsibilities


Housekeeping & Home Maintenance

• General cleaning and upkeep of the home's interior
• Cleaning and maintaining the outdoor terrace/patio, including outdoor furniture, cushions, and outdoor kitchen area
• Cleaning windows and vehicles as needed
• Emptying trash and recycling

Laundry & Organization

• Laundry, ironing, folding, and proper garment care
• Changing and making beds
• Organizing closets and household storage areas
• Keeping the kitchen, pantry, refrigerator, laundry room, and cleaning supplies neatly organized

Plant Care

• Watering orchids and providing basic care for indoor plants

Meal Preparation

• Preparing simple, healthy meals 2-3 times per week
• Chopping and preparing ingredients
• Properly storing leftovers and maintaining kitchen cleanliness

Household Support

• Grocery shopping and maintaining household inventory
• Monitoring and notifying the family when household or cleaning supplies need replenishing
• Running occasional household-related errands, as agreed upon in advance

Ideal Candidate

• Previous housekeeping experience in a private home
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Trustworthy, dependable, and proactive
• Comfortable with light meal preparation
• Flexible and willing to assist with additional hours during special occasions or guest visits
