Cath Lab Technician

Location: Marquette, Michigan

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Variable shift start times at 7:00 AM & 8:00 AM.

Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Cath Lab Technician to join our team at our specialty care hospital. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of cardiovascular procedures and ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care in the Cath Lab setting.

Responsibilities:

• Perform angiography, angioplasty, and other interventional procedures.
• Assist in the preparation and operation of the Cath Lab equipment.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures.
• Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to enhance patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate documentation and records of procedures performed.
• Participate in on-call duties, responding within 30 minutes of being called in.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Active Michigan License.
• Experience in catheterization procedures preferred; training available for less experienced candidates.
• Familiarity with Merge Hemo and Cerner electronic health records is a plus.
