Senior Product Manager SOR

WHO YOU ARE The Senior Product Manager – SOR contributes to, and manages, the design and development of new and existing products, strategizing the full product lifecycle from conception to release. This role works within and leads cross‑functional teams to create products that improve consumer experience and grow market share. WHAT YOU’LL DO Execute product lifecycle processes, including product research, market research, competitive analysis, planning, positioning, roadmap development, requirements documentation, and product launch. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to meet product requirements, evaluate performance, and transition products from development to commercialization. Analyze existing systems and customer experience, identify product gaps, and generate new ideas that increase market share and improve customer experience. Act as a technical consultant, lead research, and prototype innovative technologies and products. Document requirements for new products, features, and processes through market research, technical documentation review, and communication with sales, implementation, and customer success teams. Support the development and review of internal and external product reference materials, and coordinate customer‑specific rollout. Translate product/platform strategy into detailed feature and user stories consumable by development teams. Align engineering’s technology and architectural roadmap with product/business road map goals. Serve as a customer liaison for technical issues related to product integration, custom development, and requirements. Manage schedules and tasks for all aspects of product development and delivery. Support the sales team in pre‑sales initiatives to close deals and support marketing in content creation and market positioning. WHAT YOU’LL NEED 8+ years of experience as a Product Manager, Business/Systems Analyst, or similar role. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in technology or a related field. Strong teamwork and collaboration skills, with the ability to foster cross‑functional relationships. Technical expertise and computer proficiency. Project management experience and excellent work ethic. Analytical thinking and the ability to influence within a global team. Experience in the life & annuity industry or financial services is required. Advanced communication, interpersonal, critical thinking, and troubleshooting skills. Willingness to travel as needed to meet clients and attend events. WHAT’S IN IT FOR YOU Competitive compensation ranging from $120,000 to $150,000, with variation based on location and experience.
