Associate Attorney - Plaintiff Litigation

Established (50+ Years) Premier Firm Seeking Associate Attorney in Santa Monica, CA

An established firm based in Santa Monica, CA with over 50 years in practice is seeking an Associate Attorney with 2-4+ years of experience to join their team onsite. This role offers the opportunity to work alongside nationally recognized attorneys handling Plaintiff litigation , including depositions , trial work , and law and motion practice across a wide variety of plaintiff-side matters.

Offer:
Salary range: $180,000-$240,000+, contingent on experience

Qualifications:
2-4+ years of Plaintiff litigation experience
Strong writing and analytical skills are required
Experience with depositions and in-court appearances is required
Prior federal clerkship is a plus but not required
A positive, growth-oriented mindset with strong leadership and collaboration skills

Responsibilities:
Handle all stages of litigation including pre-filing investigation and client intake
Draft complaints and manage law and motion practice
Conduct and defend depositions
Work with expert witnesses in preparation for trial
Serve as first- or second-chair on bench and jury trials
Assist with appellate matters as needed
