6-Month Contract, possible contract-to-hire We are working with a well-established organization in Columbia, MD, seeking a Recruiter to join its Human Resources team. This role is ideal for a recruiting professional who enjoys partnering with hiring managers, building candidate pipelines, improving recruiting processes, and delivering a strong candidate experience. The Recruiter will manage full-cycle recruiting activities while serving as a trusted resource to hiring managers and internal teams. Key Responsibilities Partner with hiring managers to understand hiring needs and develop effective recruiting strategies. Manage recruiting activities from job posting and sourcing through interviews, candidate selection, and offers. Source and engage both active and passive candidates to develop strong talent pipelines. Coordinate interviews, assessments, candidate communication, and feedback throughout the hiring process. Provide regular updates to hiring managers regarding open positions and candidate activity. Support offer management and related recruiting documentation. Hiring Manager & Candidate Support Serve as a recruiting partner and advisor to hiring managers throughout the hiring process. Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and provide guidance on recruiting best practices. Maintain a positive and professional candidate experience throughout the recruitment process. Communicate the organization's employment value proposition to prospective candidates. Work effectively with individuals at all levels of an organization. Recruiting Operations & Process Improvement Maintain accurate candidate and requisition information within the applicant tracking system. Monitor recruiting activity and meet established performance metrics. Identify opportunities to improve recruiting processes, efficiency, and reporting. Help establish and document standardized recruiting procedures. Assist with employee referral programs and related recruiting initiatives. Support the development and updating of job descriptions and offer materials. Training & Team Support Participate in recruiting-related training initiatives. Provide training and guidance to internal teams as needed. Share recruiting best practices and help improve consistency across the hiring process. Stay informed on employment practices and applicable recruiting requirements. Qualifications 3–5 years of experience in recruiting, talent acquisition, HR, or a related field. Experience managing full-cycle recruiting processes. Strong sourcing and candidate relationship-building skills. Experience partnering directly with hiring managers. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Excellent organizational and time-management abilities. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects with minimal supervision. Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where priorities can shift quickly. Experience working with an ATS required; Workday Recruiting experience is preferred. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Communications, Psychology, or a related field is preferred. #J-18808-Ljbffr
