Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity supporting elementary-aged students with communication needs in a school setting near Lagrange, IN. This position focuses on a caseload of approximately 60 students, with half participating in Applied Skills programs, offering a unique and meaningful caseload mix. The assignment runs from October 12 through May 27, with a steady schedule of 37.5 hours per week across five days.

Qualifications:

• Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license in Indiana
• Prior experience in school-based settings is preferred
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Ability to provide services for elementary-age students, including those in Applied Skills programs

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver speech and language therapy services to a diverse caseload of elementary students
• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Monitor student progress and document ongoing treatment and outcomes
• Collaborate closely with teachers, special education staff, and family members to support student success
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and IEP reviews
• Adapt intervention methods to meet the needs of students in both general and Applied Skills classrooms
